Receiving the MWG has been such a gift for my family and me. As can be imagined, my breast cancer diagnosis was a devastating blow to us, especially for our two young sons who were 9 and 6 years old. My  husband and I knew that my treatment (which would consist of  chemotherapy, surgery and radiation) was going to be a lot for them to  process and that they would need some professional counseling to help  navigate the experience. The grant allowed us to provide weekly therapy  sessions for both boys during and following my treatment. My husband and I consider the counseling sessions to be a huge blessing during a time of deep insecurity and fear. The generous grant afforded us a great deal of  comfort and we are forever grateful to this foundation and to my friend,  Megan.

It has been such a blessing to be able to have all these massages. Thank  you for your kind generosity in making these available to me. I am in my 22nd year as a stage IV breast cancer survivor. I have been  blessed to have met my 6 grandchildren and visit them as often as  possible. They live in Minnesota. I have had good quality of life for which I  am very grateful. I currently have a problem with a pleural effusion in my  right lung. There have been a few "speed bumps" along the way however I  have been able to be mobile and travel.

Thank you for this wonderful foundation which have started in your  daughter's memory.

SWR is the most direct and effective charity grant I have ever encountered.  From application to final implementation, the process was very fast and all  the people in SWR were very friendly, sincere, and empathetic.

As a patient with stage 2-3 breast cancer, my treatment was longer and more, which also caused me to have many sequelae that required various  treatments for recovery. These are usually not covered by medical insurance. Through the benefits of SWR, I have received acupuncture, chiropractor, massage, sleep therapy, and psychological counseling for  recovery. Fortunately, with the help of these treatments, my physical  condition has improved greatly, which has brought me comfort in my painful life.

I am very lucky and grateful that I have the opportunity to receive funding  from SWR.

I’m a mother of a 3-year-old girl, and receiving this grant has been a  tremendous help during such a difficult time. I’ve been in a lot of pain from  the Keytruda treatments, and acupuncture has really eased some of that pain. There are days when I can barely walk or get out of bed, which is  especially challenging with a toddler to care for.

The grant has given me the support I needed to seek treatment and  manage my pain. I just want to express my deepest gratitude to the

foundation for your help during this challenging period. I truly appreciate  everything you've done for me.  Thank you so much.

There are no words to express how grateful I am. Thank you for your support during this difficult time. I included a picture of my family because you are blessing them too! The therapy is already a big help. God Bless you!
